Weather in Portugal is usually as follows:
In the south, summers (May to October) are warm with very little rain except in early spring and autumn. Daily highs are of about 35°C and nightly lows 15°C. Mild winters have daily highs of about 20°C and nightly lows rarely below 10°C.
As you would expect, the north of Portugal has milder winters with higher levels of rainfall and shorter summers. Daily highs are around 25°C and nightly lows 15°C. Winters are cooler with highs of 15°C and lows of 5°C
